McDermotts support Birmingham’s 50th St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Birmingham’s St. Patrick’s Day parade returned on 17th March, which celebrated the 50th year of the parade. The preceding parade was in 2019, therefore five years later thousands of enthusiastic people lined the streets to welcome the celebration of Irish culture throughout Birmingham.

At McDermotts we continue our commitment to our people and communities by supporting a range of good causes and community projects. This includes supporting local sports teams and therefore offered our low loader to Erin Go Bragh, GAA sports club as their parade float, which was decorated in green, white and orange, illustrating the colours of the Irish flag.

McDermotts were honoured to be a part of the procession of floats in the parade, alongside 30 other floats and marching bands parading through the town. The parade was a great success and we look forward to welcoming the parade back to Birmingham again next year.
