We recently came together for our annual Celebration Evening, bringing together colleagues from across the business for an evening of recognition, entertainment and fundraising. The event provided an opportunity to reflect on our achievements of the past year, celebrate team successes, and to thank employees for their continued dedication and hard work.

Set against the elegant backdrop of Moor Hall Hotel & Spa in Sutton Coldfield, guests enjoyed a drinks reception before sitting down to a enjoy a three-course meal. The evening featured live entertainment, including a DJ who kept the dance floor lively, as well as a performance from traditional Irish dancers that added a special touch to the celebrations.

At the heart of the evening’s fundraising efforts was the much-anticipated charity raffle, held in support of several local charities that we work closely with throughout the year. The raffle alone raised an impressive £2,570 on the night.

Demonstrating our ongoing commitment to supporting local communities, McDermotts pledged to match the funds raised. With matched funding included, the total amount being donated to local charities now stands at an outstanding £5,140.

Our Celebration Evening has become a special date in our events calendar. It’s a chance for us to come together, recognise what we’ve achieved as a team and to support the communities around us – and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year.
