Throughout 2024, at McDermotts we have continued our commitment to our people and communities by supporting a range of charitable causes.

This Christmas we are proud and delighted to have partnered with the University Hospitals Birmingham Charity as their corporate sponsor for their Christmas Lottery. The charity provides support for patients, families and staff across four Birmingham hospitals, including: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital.

Whilst this partnership is local to our Head Office in Birmingham, we also pride ourselves in supporting the other local communities and charities within the proximity of our project sites across the UK. This year McDermotts have proudly donated over £30,000 in support of 50 charitable organisations and communities that represent important causes to us, inclusive of:

People: food banks, community centres, homelessness, educational facilities and sports teams

Environment: waterways and wildlife charities, involvement in local environmental projects

Staff and health: mental health, counselling, child loss and medical research charities
