Recently, members of the McDermotts team proudly attended the Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) Supervisors Forum, an event dedicated to supply chain updates, collaboration, and celebrating outstanding performance across projects.

McDermotts is proud to share that our Supervisor, Eddie Logan, has been awarded the Golden Rules Champion Award at the BBV Supervisors Forum. This well-deserved recognition highlights his outstanding commitment to safety and teamwork. Eddie consistently demonstrates the values that sit at the heart of both McDermotts and BBV. The award recognises individuals who actively promote and uphold BBV’s Golden Rules, a set of essential safety principles designed to prevent incidents and ensure everyone returns home safely each day.

Recognised for Going Above and Beyond

Eddie’s nomination, submitted by BBV, highlighted the impact he makes on site every day: “Eddie consistently goes above and beyond in his daily duties, working collaboratively with the BBV team and demonstrating a conscientious, proactive approach to health and safety at all times. He is the first point of contact when issues arise on site, and he is the person everyone turns to when support, guidance, or problem solving is needed”.
