We’ve handed over the first building at the University of Northampton to main contractor, Bowmer & Kirkland.

The Senate Building will be home to the University’s largest Harvard-style lecture theatre. The flexible space will also be used for exhibitions and events.

The new Waterside Campus for the University of Northampton is an innovative £330m project to transform a 58-acre brownfield site in Northampton’s Waterside Enterprise Zone. It will provide state-of-the-art academic facilities for 15,000 students, residential facilities for 1,200 students and leisure facilities open to the community.
