Reduction in risk of HAVS (Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome)

Since HAVS was first recognised as a serious occupational health threat in the 1980s; Hilti have worked closely with the HSE and tool users, to develop machines which not only lower vibration but which also increase productivity. Hilti’s AVR (Active Vibration Reduction) Technology comprises a series of springs and pivots that effectively decouples the side handles from the operational end of the tool.

Minimised downtime

If important tools suddenly fail during construction, works on site can come to a standstill. Hilti’s Fleet Management Service ensures that repairs or replacements are organized with minimum delays incurred. The service also includes replacing batteries when tools slow down and insurance against theft.

Staying up-to-date

After an agreed period, each tool is replaced with the latest generation, ensuring we’re always working with the most up-to-date tools.

Easy tool management

All tools are clearly labelled and an online tool fleet list allows us to monitor which tools are being used and which are no longer required.
