McDermotts retains certifications once again

We are delighted to report that we have retained certifications to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 from NQA for our integrated management system.

ISO 9001 is perhaps the most recognised quality management system standard. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.

ISO 14001 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system. The intended outcomes of an environmental management system include:

  • enhancement of environmental performance
  • fulfilment of compliance obligations
  • achievement of environmental objectives

ISO 45001 specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. This enables us to improve occupational health and safety, eliminate hazards and minimise OH&S risks. The intended outcomes of an OH&S management system include:

  • continual improvement of OH&S performance
  • fulfilment of legal requirements and other requirements
  • achievement of OH&S objectives

ISO 50001 demonstrates McDermotts’ commitment to addressing our impact, conserving resources and improving efficiency through development of an energy management system (EnMS). This is the newest of the standards and is aimed at safeguarding our future by making a positive difference now.
