At this time of year it can be difficult for some families to manage financially. The Trussell Trust is a charity that runs a network of over 400 foodbanks, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis across the UK, where thirteen million people live below the poverty line. In the first six months of this year they distributed 500,000 three-day emergency food parcels.
