With people and communities at the heart of our business values, we are proud to have sponsored the Bonnie Burn Cup, recognising the dedicated volunteers who support children’s personal development in schools through the Bark and Read Programme.

Presenting the award on behalf of McDermotts was Dean Hanley, who in his spare time is a volunteer for the Therapy Dogs Nationwide charity, together with his dog Ken who is a trained therapy dog.

Presented at Crufts, volunteer Richard and his labrador Gilbert were awarded the Bonnie Burn Cup for their exceptional volunteering in local schools.
