This week, members of the McDermotts team proudly attended the Wates ‘Construction West Supply Chain Awards’, an event dedicated to celebrating excellence, collaboration, and outstanding performance across its regional supply chain network. We are delighted to announce that McDermotts was honoured with two awards during the event.

In recognition of our ongoing work at HMP Onley, McDermotts received the award for ‘Overall Supply Chain Partner of the Year’. This accolade reflects the collective effort, professionalism, and commitment demonstrated by our entire project team, and our strong alignment with Wates’ values.

The second award we received was the ‘Supervisor of the Year’ award, presented to Dave Lynch. This individual award highlights Dave’s exceptional leadership on site and his ability to motivate and coordinate teams effectively in a high-security working environment, which has played a key role in the success of the HMP Onley project.

These awards are a testament to the hard work, teamwork, and professionalism shown by everyone involved. We are incredibly proud of our colleagues and grateful to Wates for their continued partnership and recognition.
