We’re growing a Mo for charity

Some of our team are taking part in Movember, an annual event where men all over the world take on the challenge to grow a moustache and raise money for the Movember Foundation.

Our apprentices have been supporting some of Willmott Dixon’s trainees with a project at Highbury Orchard Community in Birmingham.

On Friday 7 October Managing Director Malcolm McDermott and Director Henry Gilbert became Chartered Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Building.

Transport Secretary Chris Grayling visited the Birmingham site of the new National College for High Speed Rail to see the high-tech training facility as it takes a step closer to completion.

A staff raffle and match-funding allowed us to donate £1,000 to Saras Hope Foundation.

We are working with Interserve to deliver a well-being garden at the Shepshed Volunteer Centre as part of a Community Benefits Plan for the Defence for National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC.)

We have added three new 20 tonne Komatsu PC210LCi excavators to our fleet which include integrated machine control and a 3D guidance system.

McDermotts donates £2,034 to The Battle Fund to support Tom in his fight against ALS.

Following our donation to War Child earlier in the month we are delighted to also donate £5,000 to Save the Children.
