Family fun and fundraising success at McDermotts Summer Fair

Employees and their families enjoyed a day of celebration at Drayton Manor Resort, helping to raise £3,670 for local charities through fundraising and matched donations.

McDermotts has been recognised at the Considerate Constructors Scheme Site Awards 2026, achieving a Bronze Award following consecutive 45/45 audit scores.

McDermotts Supervisor Eddie Logan was recognised at the Balfour Beatty VINCI Supervisors Forum for outstanding commitment to safety, teamwork and the BBV Golden Rules.

The project has delivered meaningful outdoor improvements at St Joseph’s Church, supporting the local communities of Aston and Nechells in Birmingham.

We’re celebrating Women in Construction Week by prioritising wellbeing, championing career progression and recognising the achievements of the women at McDermotts.

The Wates ‘Construction West Supply Chain Awards’ saw McDermotts presented with two awards: ‘Overall Supply Chain Partner of the Year’ and ‘Supervisor of the Year’.
