McDermotts welcome six new apprentices to the team

We have welcomed six apprentices to McDermotts this month, who are undertaking a Level 2 Apprenticeship in groundworks

For our new project in Warrington, 100% of the new workers recruited by McDermotts have been directly sourced from within the local community

We are delighted to retain certifications to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 awarded by NQA

In August 2022, apprentice Alex received a distinction in his Level 2 Groundworks apprenticeship

McDermotts colleagues donated a staggering 267.1kg to the Aston & Nechells food bank.

McDermotts and Balfour Beatty colleagues volunteered to prepare a patch of dead space land so that DIY SOS could building an amazing community centre in Stoke.

Our colleagues had fun while looking after their mental and physical wellbeing during Mental Health Awareness Week 2022.

McDermotts’ colleagues raised over £4,000 to assist the crisis in Ukraine at their annual celebration evening.

We recently invited Andy Street, Mayor of the West Midlands, to meet with some of our apprentices on site at West Coventry Academy.

This week we welcomed representatives from Papyrus and Tommy’s to present a combined donation of £40,000 to these amazing charities.
